“The Offer” continues to be one of the best shows on TV.

Through six episodes of the Paramount+ series about the making of “The Godfather,” I am truly blown away by how great it is. Miles Teller is an absolute beast on the screen as Albert S. Ruddy. (REVIEW: ‘The Offer’ Is An Outstanding Series About The Making Of ‘The Godfather’)

Now, I know what a lot of you are probably thinking. How could a show about the making of a film be that great? Well, do I have news for you?

“The Offer” is just as suspenseful and captivating as anything else I’ve seen in recent memory. There’s even a surprising action as Ruddy tries to balance pleasing the studio and organized crime figures.

Whenever Teller, Dan Fogler or Giovanni Ribisi are on the screen, it’s borderline impossible to look away. Even the simplest of dialogue hooks its teeth into you and refuses to let go.

Hell, there’s probably a serious argument to be made that the making of “The Godfather” might honestly be more interesting than the legendary mafia film itself.

There’s so many wild stories involved. Granted, is some of it exaggerated? Without a doubt, but we all expect that whenever we’re watching a series that’s based on a true story.
