Melinda French Gates, the ex-wife of billionaire Microsoft founder Bill Gates, is reportedly dating a new man.
French Gates, 58, is allegedly dating former Fox News correspondent and 60-something silver fox Jon Du Pre, according to TMZ. Sources reportedly close to the duo say that French Gates and Du Pre have been seeing each other for a few months, maybe longer, and have even been spotted at an NBA game together as far back as April of 2022.

Du Pre is a former reporter who now describes himself as a “strategic communications specialist” with at least 35 years of experience in various forms of content development, including broadcasting, writing, video production, public affairs, blah, things like that, TMZ continued. He worked with Fox News back in the late 90s and early 2000s, but has now potentially evolved into the world’s luckiest man, landing himself the billionaire belle. While French Gates has been candid and as open as possible about her previous marriage and subsequent divorce from Gates, she has yet to come out and publicly confirm her new romance. It’s unclear how Du Pre and French Gates met, but I am so here for this new prospective love, and hope these rumors are true.
