The New York Times placed Democratic Pennsylvania Senate-elect John Fetterman on its list of the 93 most stylish people of the year.
The list featured celebrities and political figures, including Supreme Court Associate Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson and Kim Kardashian. A photo of Fetterman showed him wearing his most common uniform — a hoodie, basketball shorts and sneakers — with the caption stating that he will bring “Carhartt to the Capitol.” The Democrat appears to dress as a working-class Pennsylvanian.
Users on social media criticized The Times’ choice to pick the senator-elect for the list.

Total liberal bias, @nytimes! I not only have the best hair in Congress, but I brought @Carhartt to Capitol Hill four years ago. https://t.co/iAYsteNJ1b

John Fetterman as one of the most stylish people in 2022?
