New video has emerged showing the late Tom Sizemore behind the scenes of the last feature film he filmed before he passed away March 3.
Sizemore played a police detective in Bruce Bellocchi’s upcoming film “The Legend of Jack and Diane,” and backstage footage shows the actor fully immersed and engaged with his director and castmates as he prepares to shoot his scene. Bellocchi commented on the footage obtained by TMZ, revealing the actor’s struggles in the months leading up to his death.
Sizemore appeared focused on set and could be heard going back and forth with the crew as he got in character and began to act out the scene as Detective Parker. The scenes were shot in the Los Angeles area roughly a year prior to his death. Production of the movie concluded in March 2022, according to TMZ.
Bellocchi valued his time with Sizemore and addressed what it was like to work with the legendary actor.
“It was like getting into the ring with the heavyweight champ and although you knew he was past his prime, it was still a surreal experience just to be able to share time together,” Bellocchi said.
Sizemore was 60-years-old at the time of filming, but Bellocchi said he looked worn down and much older than his age, according to TMZ. He said the famous actor was always hunched over and appeared tired but still continued to push through his lines and put forth his best effort.
“That being said, he was professional and I thought always gave his best,” Bellocchi said, according to TMZ.

He said they “shared many nights in deep conversation about battling past demons and having the will to keep moving forward,” according to TMZ.
Sizemore suffered a brain aneurysm at his home in February and was placed on life support. He did not regain consciousness during his time at the hospital. His family made the difficult decision to remove his life support and the actor died March 3, according to TMZ.
“The Legend Of Jack and Diane” will be released on Amazon iTunes and Google Play in March.
