Country singer Brantley Gilbert smashed a can of Bud Light during a concert in Alabama on Saturday, becoming the latest celebrity to express outrage at the brand’s partnership with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney.

During the show at Indian Mountain ATV Park, a fan tossed a Bud Light can onto the stage for Gilbert. The singer smashed the can, yelling “Fuck that!” at which point someone in the crowd threw him a second beer. Gilbert, who quit drinking in 2011, gave the beer to his drummer.

“You ain’t got a hair on your ass if you don’t shotgun that son of a bitch,” Gilbert yelled. (RELATED: Budweiser Releases Pro-America Ad Amid Backlash)

Bud Light has faced backlash after sending Mulvaney a custom beer can with the trans activist’s face, with Bud Light parent company Anheuser-Busch losing over $6 billion in market cap.

“We never intended to be part of a discussion that divides people,” Anheuser-Busch CEO Brendan Whitworth said in a statement Friday.

Gilbert is not the first artist to criticize Bud Light’s partnership with Mulvaney. Travis Tritt, Kid Rock and John Rich have all denounced the brand, multiple outlets have reported.

Other artists such as Jason Isbell and Zach Bryan defended the brand.
