However, an official source from Ocean’s camp shared insight with the Daily Caller about the events leading up to Ocean’s performance that may have had an impact on his show.

The famous singer reportedly suffered an injury to his ankle during the week leading up to the festival while on-site for Coachella rehearsals. Ocean’s injury was serious enough to warrant medical care, according to a source from his camp. The star was forced to make last-minute changes and adjustments to his previously designed and choreographed performance set, they said. The changes were made in accordance with advice from Ocean’s doctor, according to a source from his camp.
Ocean’s team noted that the artist performed twenty songs, many of which were completely reworked for the festival. “He delivered a number of personal addresses to the audience, discussing his reasons for performing at the festival and new music,” the source said.
