“General Hospital” actress Haley Pullos was arrested for a DUI after she allegedly drove the wrong way on a freeway while under the influence, causing a major collision, according to TMZ.

Pullos had been driving on the highway April 29 when she swerved, lost control of her vehicle and flew over the freeway dividing barrier into oncoming traffic, TMZ reported Wednesday, citing a police report. She then allegedly collided head-on with another car and became trapped inside her vehicle.

Horrific photos obtained by TMZ appear to show the severity of the crash. Two vehicles seem to have been involved, and both suffered major damage, according to the pictures. The highway appears covered in automotive fluids and car parts, suggesting a high-impact collision.

Pullos was unable to exit the vehicle by herself and required the help of firefighters to free her from the wreckage, TMZ reported, citing police. She was placed in an ambulance for medical assistance, but allegedly acted aggressively toward the first responders.

Pullos hit a firefighter as he examined her injuries, according to TMZ. “This is a $400 fucking shirt!” she reportedly shouted.

Police said they found weed edibles and mini tequila bottles in the vehicle when they searched Pullos’ car, according to TMZ.

At the hospital, law enforcement said Pullos had displayed obvious signs of driving under the influence, the outlet reported. Police allegedly smelled alcohol on her breath, and they said the famous actress was slurring her speech and had watery eyes, according to TMZ.

Officers reportedly arrested Pullos for felony DUI while she was in the hospital. She allegedly presented aggressive behavior toward the hospital staff attempting to assist her and tried to fight them off. The staff then sedated the actress as a result, according to TMZ. The driver of the other vehicle allegedly suffered major injuries and was hospitalized. The extent of Pullos’ injuries are not public, according to the outlet.

The actress was also involved in a hit-and-run collision prior to the crash on the freeway, TMZ reported.

Pullos plays Molly Lansing-Davis on “General Hospital.” She will be temporarily replaced on the show, TV Insider tweeted Tuesday.
