Sylvester Stallone’s daughter revealed Wednesday that her father’s macho-man persona often scares off dates for her and her sisters.
The famous actor’s 24-year-old daughter, Sistine Stallone, told People that “dating when we have the dad that we do is rough.” Moreover, she told the outlet that her father scared off a boy she was seeing just as the the two were about to share their first kiss.

“The first time a boy came over to meet my parents he’s going in for the first kiss and I was so nervous but I was excited, and he looks up at the balcony and he goes, ‘Oh my God. What is that?'” she reflected. The boy noticed Sylvester Stallone’s silhouette overlooking the intimate moment. His daughter described the situation as a case of her old man as being “cinematic in the most unnecessary [ways],” according to People.

“And let me tell you this kid jumped in the car, went down the driveway — never saw him again,” Sistine said. “It has been a bit of struggle for my sisters and I to even find a relationship. Not only do we have ‘Stallone’ attached to our last name — my dad is also very overprotective and quite intimidating.”

Sophia, 26, told People her dad “becomes full-on Rambo with guns” when he’s introduced to their respective dates. With Sistine in her mid-twenties, she hoped as she got older her dad would want to get to know her boyfriends, but that has not been the case. “This is someone very special in my life, I’ve never had a relationship as good as this one before so it does hurt my feelings that there has been very minimal effort on his part,” Sophia said of her current boyfriend.
Sylvester, however, maintains that he’s “helping” his daughters by “getting rid of these creeps.”
