U.S. officials believe that they have located at least two different serial killers, along with a potential third, all in the space of a week in June.

The potential killers were identified in New York, Texas, and possibly Oregon, according to the Independent. Those in New York and Texas are allegedly responsible for a minimum of six deaths, and a third man is currently a person of interest in relation to four deaths in Oregon.

Suspected New York serial killer Rex Heuermann pled not guilty to a slew of Gilgo Beach murders after his arrest on Friday. He stands accused of spree-killing at least three sex workers. Police reportedly identified DNA from a discarded pizza box, burner phones used to call the victims, and a sample of his wife’s hair that was found on at least one set of remains, the Independent continued.

Within days, law enforcement sources stated they identified a man from Portland, Oregon, as a person of interest in the suspicious deaths of women across the region, the outlet reported. In June, law enforcement claimed that the deaths of six women in the area were not connected, dismissing the notion that a serial killer was active and hunting victims.

Police changed their tune pretty quickly, but still have yet to confirm the cause of death amongst many of the women. Though the Independent named the Portland suspect, he has yet to be named publicly by law enforcement, and has not been charged with any crimes. Dallas, Texas, police then arrested Oscar Sanchez Garcia, 25, on Wednesday and charged him with the deaths of Kimberly Robinson, 60, and another unidentified woman, the Independent continued. Garcia is also a leading suspect in the death of Cherish Gibson, 25.

But what about the bodies piling up in Chicago? At least 13 men have been pulled from the Chicago River and Lake Michigan in the last 16 months. All of the men have died under eerily similar circumstances. All are military-aged males who are drugged and then potentially abducted by the suspected serial killer, only to be found days later.
