Andy McCarthy Explains How The Biden ‘Business’ Might Function Like An ‘Organized Crime Family’

Fox News legal guest and former assistant U.S. Attorney Andy McCarthy explained Tuesday how the Biden family might function like an organized crime ring.

Hunter Biden sent text messages to a Chinese business associate warning him his father, President Joe Biden, was sitting next to him as Hunter waited for a call. Further, Democratic New York Rep. Dan Goldman said Monday that Hunter frequently put his father on speakerphone while talking with his business partners. Hunter’s former business associate Devon Archer said Monday that Hunter was added to Burma’s board due to “the brand” that came with Joe Biden.

“Andy, I know that you worked in the federal government, so did I. Here’s this thing here it’s called the 14 principles of ethical conduct. I went through here. I think they violated at least seven. But was it Hunter Biden’s obligation to adhere to the ethical obligations? It was Joe Biden. To me that’s what the Devon Archer piece showed yesterday,” host Dana Perino said. “Even if there had been a first call like ‘Hey dad, can you talk to these guys? I’m on the phone,’ and Joe Biden is gracious and says, ‘Hi, the weather is nice,’ fine. “No of course he didn’t do that because he is the engine that makes the business run,” McCarthy said. “In a normal investigation, an enterprise case if you want to prove up any kind of a conspiracy that ran through a regimented outfit or even a loosely put together outfit, you would spend most of your time as a prosecutor building up or explaining how the enterprise works, like what the different aspects of it are, who are the different players. The way you set that up in order to make people understand that the insulated player in it, the person who makes everything go in an organized crime family is like the boss of the family who you never get giving an unambiguous order. When you show how the whole enterprise works you can see precisely how a nod or conversation about the weather could actually be a lot more meaningful than it seems to be on the surface.”

Biden has denied any involvement with his son’s dealings, saying in 2019 he has “never discussed” with Hunter “or anyone else anything having to do with their business, period.” Biden doubled down, telling Fox News’ Peter Doocy he has “never spoken to my son about his overseas business dealings” and again in October of 2019 said, “I don’t discuss business with my son.”
