Pickler reflected on moments she shared with Jacobs before his death.

“One of the most beautiful lessons my husband taught me was in a moment of a crisis, if you don’t know what to do, ‘do nothing, just be still,'” she said to People.

“I have chosen to heed his advice.”

Pickler opened up about the final arrangements she has made for Jacbos.

“I am planning an intimate memorial for my husband, which will happen later this fall, that is what Kyle would have wanted,” she said.

An autopsy confirmed Jacbos’ cause of death as being caused by a history of “pseudoseizures, gastrointestinal bleeding, elevated liver enzymes, and chronic alcohol use,” according to People. Toxicology tests came back negative, demonstrating that Jacobs didn’t have any drugs in his system at the time of his death.

The Nashville Police Department previously confirmed that the Department of Emergency Communications was called to their home February 17 and they located Jacobs dead on arrival, according to People. (RELATED: Logan Paul Feared Jake Paul Would Commit Suicide)

Pickler told police she woke up and couldn’t locate Jacobs. She instructed her personal assistant to phone the police when they discovered they couldn’t gain access to a door in one of the rooms of the house, according to People.

Jacobs was 49 years old.
