Cher allegedly hired four men to abduct her son, Elijah Blue Allman, while he was staying in a New York hotel room, according to a new report.

Marieangela King, the estranged wife of Allman, made the allegations in legal documents submitted to the Los Angeles Superior Court on Dec. 5, 2022, the Daily Mail reported Tuesday. Allman had been living at the Chateau Marmont Hotel for about six months at that time. The pop legend was worried about her son’s health, so she apparently took matters into her own hands.

King alleged that Allman was kidnapped from his hotel room on the evening of their wedding anniversary. She added that they had spent 12 days together since Nov. 18, 2022, but everything changed dramatically on Nov. 30, 2022.

“On November 30, 2022, the night of our wedding anniversary, four people came to our hotel room and removed (Elijah) from our room. I was told by one of the four men who took him that they were hired by (Elijah’s) mother,” King alleged, according to the Daily Mail.

In addition to the kidnapping allegations, King claimed that she was kicked out of the house she was living in with her husband when he started his treatments in August 2022, the Daily Mail reported.

“I had lost both my housing and healthcare and had to leave the country to stay with relatives for a while,” she said, according to the outlet. (RELATED: REPORT: Cher Is Making New Music With Her Much Younger Boyfriend)

Allman is currently staying in rehab after he collapsed at the entrance of Chateau Marmont, Daily Mail reported.
