Famous actor Zachery Ty Bryan from “Home Improvement” will serve seven days in jail in connection with a domestic violence arrest dating back to July, officials say.

Bryan pleaded guilty to felony assault in the fourth degree, constituting domestic violence, in an Oregon courtroom Wednesday, Fox News Digital reported, citing Oregon Department of Corrections, Lance County chief deputy district attorney Chris Parosa. The actor, now 42, was arrested in July and charged with two counts of assault in the fourth degree after a dispute erupted between him and an unnamed woman.

“The terms of the negotiated resolution included dismissal of the second count and a stipulation to a ‘7D’ gridblock on the Oregon felony sentencing guidelines, which calls for a presumptive 19 to 20 months in the Oregon Department of Corrections,” Parosa told the outlet.

Parosa also said the seven-day jail term will “come with credit for time served,” which may already have been served at the time of writing.

Bryan will undergo 36 months of supervised probation as part of a “downward dispositional departure” and must adhere to domestic violence conditions, which include “no contact with the victim without the probation officer’s approval, treatment for alcohol/substance abuse issues at the direction of the probation officer, and no alcohol or drugs,” according to Fox.

The pressure is on Bryan to comply with the terms set forth, or he could reportedly face harsher penalties.(RELATED: REPORT: ‘Fear The Walking Dead’ Star Sam Underwood Arrested For Domestic Battery)

“In the event that Mr. Bryan does not live up to the obligations of the probation, he will be brought back before the court and subject the 19 to 20 months of prison that the court suspended,” Parosa told the outlet.

Bryan played the role of Brad Taylor on “Home Improvement.” His character was the son of Tim Taylor, played by Tim Allen on the popular ’90s sitcom.

Bryan was previously arrested in 2020 after a domestic incident involving his girlfriend, Johnnie Faye Cartwright, according to Fox. The actor allegedly tried to strangle Cartwright in their Eugene, Oregon, residence. “We didn’t even really get that physical. We got really loud. We were screaming and because we were in a townhome that had [thin walls], everybody could hear,” he later said when entering a guilty plea in 2021.
