I have nothing against LIV Golf … but Tiger Woods is such a boss for this.
Since the beginning of LIV Golf, the legendary Tiger Woods has not been a fan, opposing anything that’s connected to the Saudi-backed circuit. But that doesn’t mean he hasn’t been keeping an eye on the PGA rival, as evidenced by the swift jab he took at LIV while speaking with the media.
The conversation about LIV got started at a press conference Tuesday, when Woods was announced as one of Jupiter Links Golf Club’s players (out of a total of four) and also the co-owner of the team. They will be competing in the TGL, a virtual golf league that Woods co-founded. And that’s when Woods took the opportunity to take a jab, saying that TGL will be much simpler than the (in his view) very complex LIV Golf — and he said it in such boss fashion.
“Some of the stuff I’ve seen in LIV… I couldn’t figure out what the hell was going on. Here it’s very simple,” said Woods, according to The Associated Press.
