Newsmax host Carl Higbie provided America with an incredibly specific description of masculinity Thursday, and everyone needs to hear it.

“Men need to have hands tough enough to kill a man, smart enough to author the Declaration of Independence, and gentle enough to rock a newborn to sleep,” Higbie told his audience on “Frontline.” His monologue discussed how weak people need strong men to defend them, but the prevailing rhetoric from liberal America is strong men are bad, weak men are good.

Higbie is absolutely spot on.

“At the end of the day, we’re still animals,” Higbie explained to his ever-growing audience. “All these overeducated philosophizers can try to justify [their lack of strength by saying] ‘we’re better than that’ or how the conduct is ‘unbecoming’ all they want. At the end of the day, they’re wrong. I’m right.”

Higbie, a Navy Seal veteran, has seen more than his fair share of violence (trust me, I’ve heard some of the stories he won’t share on television). (RELATED: Dear Kay: What Happened To Real Men? Are There Any Left?)

Higbie is absolutely opposed to violence, but he has enough common sense to know it’s a normalized part of human nature, and most men aren’t prepared for it.

And that is a huge concern for the future of America. “A criminal breaks into your house. What are you going to do, show him your diploma to dissuade him from killing your family? No! You’re going to grab a gun or a bat, or whatever you can, and hand out a free trip to the ER to protect your family,” he continued.

He further perfectly noted how, historically, if a foreign country tried to attack America, we’d go over there in the middle of the night and hand out a bunch of “dirt naps.” (RELATED: ‘Lizard People’: Newsmax’s Carl Higbie Outlines The Real Threat Of Digital Currencies)

I couldn’t agree more with Higbie’s statements. There is no bigger “ick” than a man who can’t, or won’t, defend himself and his family. There’s nothing more embarrassing than a man who has to call another man to help with a traditionally masculine job. And there’s nothing more revolting to our species than a man who is masculine, but can’t find the balance to be a good human.

I strongly encourage you to listen to his full monologue. Not only will you feel inspired to be the strongest, most powerful version of yourself. But you’ll also learn how to not fuck up the next generation of American kids.
