“✨TALK ABOUT LOVE IS OUT NOW✨ Turn it up loud, put your car window down, let your hair fly around you, breath, know you are worthy of love and then TALK ABOUT IT 🫶😉” Hudson wrote to her 17.9 million fans.

“It feels so surreal to have this song out, I can’t wait for you to hear it. Go listen wherever you get your music! Link in my bio,” she wrote.

The song played in the background of her social media post, putting her singing skills on blast for the world to hear.

Hudson’s debut single mixed synthetic sounds with a pop-rock anthem vibe. She co-wrote the song with her fiancé — singer and guitarist Danny Fujikawa — and 4 Non Blondes lead singer and songwriter Linda Perry, according to CNN.

The single will soon be followed by a full album release. Hudson previously indicated she wanted her first single to be “something delicious and sexy and all the things that I believe in,” according to CNN.

The famous actress-turned-singer peppered the single with notes of dance, pop, rock, and “even a bit of the alternative records I love,” Hudson said.

Hudson’s famous mom, Goldie Hawn, was the first to share her comments on Hudson’s Instagram page.

“Not only can you sing my baby, but you can also write songs like nobody’s business ❤️👏” she wrote.

MTV UK wrote in to call her musical release  “the plot twist of the century.”
