Country music star Gary Allan married Molly Martin in a spontaneous wedding on Feb. 5 at the Sumner County’s mayor’s office in Tennessee.

The famous singer tied the knot with just an officiant and a photographer acting as the witnesses of this impromptu ceremony, according to People. “We wanted something low-key that was representative of some of our favorite times together,” Allan told People in a recent interview.  “We had a private ceremony close to home, then ended the day with dinner and drinks with a few close friends. It could not have been a more perfect day!”

Allan and Martin have been romantically connected for several years, and have been engaged since Dec. 7, 2021, according to People. Their wedding was officiated by Mayor John C. Isbell and the couple was blissfully happy with their intimate nuptials. After their official “I do’s” had been said, they reportedly decided to continue the celebration with their closest people. They posed for some wedding photographs and romantic shots at their home, with the photos covered by Christy Dux Portraits, according to People.

It may have been a quick ceremony, but the lovebirds made sure to dress up for the occasion. Allan wore a classic-cut Roberto Cavalli suit, while his bride wore a cream-colored, satin Yves Saint Laurent (YSL) gown. She accented her stunning dress with vintage YSL earrings from the 1990s, according to People.

The bride’s fresh floral bouquet was designed by Nashville florist The Laughing Petal.

Allan explained they practically ran down the aisle for a quick ceremony after being engaged for a full two years.

“Molly and I had been trying to find the right time and right spot to get married, and we just decided the time was now,” he told People. “We just didn’t want to keep waiting.” (RELATED: Ellie Goulding Makes Major Life Announcement)
