Lionsgate released the teaser video for “The Crow,” Thursday, promising to thrill fans with horrifying, violent scenes.

The Rupert Sanders-directed movie stars Bill Skarsgard as Eric Draven, a murdered musician who’s resurrected as The Crow to avenge the death of his fiancee, Shelly Webster, played by FKA Twigs in the film. The three-minute clip showcases the evil, terrifying murders as a voiceover booms over the thrilling scene. “Sometimes something so bad happens that the soul cannot rest … until you put the wrong things right.”

The full-length movie trailer takes fans into a three-minute deep-dive, showing scenes of strangulation with a plastic bag, and drowning hands reaching for one another while immersed in water.

“When someone dies, a crow carries their soul to the land of the dead,” the narrator says.

Creepy video snippets of dead bodies and close-ups of a crow, followed by a flock of crows, take over the screen.

“But sometimes something so bad happens, that the soul cannot rest. Until you put the wrong things right.”

Scenes of Skarsgard getting violently shot and bleeding profusely in a bathtub quickly take over the screen.

The actor emerges from the tub, bloodied and disoriented. He picks up an automatic rifle, and blows off the head of his attacker, leaving him on the floor in a pool of blood and brain matter.
