GIRL FIGHT!
Rutgers and UMass squared off in a women’s college soccer regular season game Sunday, and at one point, things got absolutely wacky.
With the contest tied 0-0 in the second half, an insane brawl ended up popping off between players from both sides.
“There was an absolutely wild brawl during the UMass Rutgers women’s soccer game today in which a Scarlet Knight connected on an absolutely vicious haymaker and judo throw,” wrote the fan who published the video on social media. In the end, the Minutemen took the 1-0 win over the Scarlet Knights. UMass has bumped themselves up to 1-2 on the season, while Rutgers is now sitting at 1-1-1.
Here’s a solid observation from a fan on the matter that I couldn’t help but to share:
“If someone is swinging at me like that and my teammates are holding their arms out like, ‘no. wait. don’t’ just standing there I’m not sure I’m playing on that team again.”

I looked up the Rutgers soccer player who was a part of this fight, and her name is Gia Girman. And as you’ll see from her page, she’s only 5’2″, so you know exactly what’s going on here — them short girls don’t play, just full of pure flames.
This was a living example of that.
