Flyers win fourth straight, 6-3 over Stars

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Simon Gagne, Darroll Powe and Ian Laperriere and each had a goal and an assist to help the Philadelphia Flyers win their fourth straight game and send the Dallas Stars to their eighth straight road loss with a 6-3 win Tuesday night.

Scott Hartnell, Kimmo Timonen, and Claude Giroux also scored goals, and Matt Carle had two assists for the Flyers who are 8-1-1 in their last ten games.

Steve Ott scored twice and James Neal added the other goal for the Stars, who last won on the road at San Jose on Dec. 11 in a 3-2 shootout.

Philadelphia’s Michael Leighton made 27 saves. Leighton has started 10 straight games and has gone 8-0-1.
