Tiger Woods practices with Dustin Johnson, while Phil Mickelson practiced on tuesday
Tiger Woods played a practice round with Dustin Johnson on Monday. Phil Mickelson went out with Johnson on Tuesday.
Steve Stricker is scheduled to play with Johnson today.
That’s three of the top four players in the world lining up to study how Johnson attacks Pebble Beach Golf Links.
Johnson is a popular player among golf’s elite this week as they prepare for Thursday’s U.S. Open. Johnson has won back-to-back AT&Ts, shooting rounds of 64 and 65 the last two years at Pebble Beach.
He also has a former Pebble Beach caddie looping for him — 45-year-old Bobby Brown.
“He would have won those tournaments no matter who was on the bag,” said Brown, who was a full-time caddie at Pebble Beach from 2002 to 2005.
