The White House responds: “The President has been notified of the incident in Boston. His administration is in contact with state and local authorities. He directed his administration to provide whatever assistance is necessary in the investigation and response.”

Something has happened at the JFK Library, but there are conflicting reports. Some are saying it was another explosion, some are saying it was a fire. This is the point where there are going to be a lot of contradictory reports. Keep calm and try not to spread bad information.

WFXT in Boston is reporting that a three-year-old was injured in the blast.
Several other organizations are helping people find info on Boston Marathon runners.

One of the two reported dead was 8 years old.
