Edward E. Bartlett, PhD, international human research liaison at the Office for Human Research Protections (apparently a part of Health and Human Services), wrote me an email the other day. Apparently this hard working federal employee was upset about this post I wrote on canned NYT Executive Editor Jill Abramson.
He wrote, “This concluding statement employs coarse and inappropriate language: ‘Clearly he’s not buying her bullshit.’
Guess this guy missed the NC-17 warning on The Mirror? Regardless, my deepest apologies to Mr. Bartlett for my using the word “bullshit” in a post the other day. Unfortunately, there’s no promising that it won’t happen again. I can’t control myself. Hence the warning label.
By the way, after I informed him that I was running his letter, Mr. Bartlett replied, “Your smart-ass comment is a bunch of B-S.”
