Jacksonville Jaguars’ corner back Dwayne Gratz did not attend practice on Monday after being arrested this past weekend.

Gratz was cited two misdemeanors for disorderly intoxication and trespassing while in Miami during his team’s bye-week, according to The Florida Times-Union.

The incident occurred just before 6:00 a.m. Sunday morning in a Miami Beach store. The police report claims that Gratz tried to pay for his purchase with bubble-gum and had “blood-shot eyes.” After refusing to leave the store, the police arrested him.

Miami Police stated that Gratz was released from jail at 6:00 a.m. Monday morning.

Jaguars Head Coach Gus Bradley spoke to the press regarding this “unfortunate situation,” Yahoo Sports reported. Bradley said, “I expect to see him later this afternoon. I’ll meet with him and we’ll handle it internally. It’s not good what took place, but it is a matter we have to investigate even more when he gets back here.”

Gratz couldn’t contain his excitement about his trip to Miami, and had to tweet about it.

Looks like we will have to wait and see if Gratz will be present on the field this Sunday when the Jaguars face the Indianapolis Colts.
