After Bruce Jenner publicly confirmed that he is transitioning into a woman, many in the Kardashian family reacted positively. Kim Kardashian, who Bruce said has been the most supportive, called herself a “proud daughter” who respected his decision.
The 34-year-old reality star posted these two photos after his interview with Diane Sawyer aired Friday night.
“Love is the courage to live the truest, best version of yourself. Bruce is love. I love you Bruce.”

Kris Jenner, Bruce’s third wife that he was married to for almost 25 years, said he was a hero to her.

While he confirmed that he has not had gender reassignment surgery, the 65-year-old said that, “for all intents and purposes,” he is a woman. He said he has always struggled with his “gender identity” since he was young.

When asked if he would ever consider surgery, he had this to say.
