Chicago Blackhawks prospect Garret Ross is in some hot water after being charged with a felony for allegedly spreading revenge porn.
According to TMZ sports, Ross “shared a photo of a woman ‘engaged in a sexual act, which was obtained under circumstances which Ross should have known the image was to remain private.'” (RELATED: NBA Player Arrested For Spousal Abuse)
Ross, who was a fifth round draft pick in the 2012 NHL draft, will be allowed to travel with the team while his case is under investigation. If he’s convicted he could face up to three years in prison. (RELATED: Former Football Star Facing Charges Again For Allegedly Beating Another Woman)
Local sports reporter Nick Burzych tweeted out a copy of the police report:

It’s also interesting to note that Ross apparently wasn’t the only person in the Blackhawks’ minor league system origianlly investigated which would make it appear that Ross could have shared the images with his teammates.
UPDATE: I’m told Ross wasn’t the only member of the IceHogs involved in the original complaint. He is the only one currently facing charges.
