Britney Spears: ‘This Is Truly An Attack Against All Of Us’

Britney Spears said “this is truly an attack against all of us” following the terror attack in Orlando.

On Monday, the 34-year-old pop singer talked about the mass shooting where 49 people were killed and more than 50 other people were injured Saturday night at a gay nightclub in Florida. (RELATED: Madonna’s Version Of An Orlando Tribute Is A Photo Of Her Kissing Britney Spears)

Spears posted on her Instagram account a message that she has been struggling with what to say following the deadly attack. (RELATED: Britney Spears Just Posted A Swimsuit Pic, And She’s Busting Out Of It)

 

“I have not been able to find words to express how I feel about what happened in Orlando,” she wrote. “Music and dance take me to a wonderful, happy, safe place and for this to happen in a place where people enjoy those things makes me so sad. This has to stop.”

“We need to accept and love people for who they are,” she continued. “This is truly an attack against all of us, and I’m praying that we can join together and find a solution.”
