“This election, Trump, it’s so upsetting,” Schumer said. “I did some stand-up at Hilary’s [Clinton] birthday party, and I’m in the same room as her and Bill and [New York Senator] Kirsten Gillibrand, and they were not worried about Trump at all. I’ve just been holding on to that for dear life.” (RELATED: These Celebrities Voted In New York Yesterday And Won’t Quit Bragging About It)

In April, Schumer let her fans know which presidential candidate she was supporting with a post on her Instagram account after voting in the New York primaries. In the photo she is wearing a t-shirt that has a sketch drawing of Hillary Clinton and the caption next to the photo reads, “Said go New York, go New York go!#I’mwithher.” A saying that has been adopted by Clinton supporters.
