Democratic National Committee chair candidate Jehmu Greene ended a Monday interview on “Tucker Carlson Tonight” in dramatic fashion.
“I haven’t seen the exact claim you’re talking about, so I’m not going to play this gotcha game,” Greene said in response to a question from host Tucker Carlson. “I’m not going to cheerlead someone who is refusing to even celebrate Martin Luther King Day.”
“It’s not a gotcha game,” the Daily Caller founder shot back. “Why do you always bring this back to race?”
Ehmu then noted that the segment “started” talking about race, yet Carlson pressed her for dodging the question.
“Look, I’m not endorsing everything Trump does,” Carlson continued. “I’m just saying, here he’s doing something that overlaps with what Democrats have wanted to do for a long time, and he’s saying yeah let’s do it.”
“I’m asking you, are you so partisan you can’t say, ‘yeah I don’t like Trump, but that’s a good idea,’ but you can’t.”
