On Thursday’s episode of “The View,” co-host Joy Behar insisted that President Trump somehow left millions in yearly income in order to increase his wealth.
Behar recalled that someone whose name she couldn’t remember said that Trump “could save a billion dollars in taxes” with the new White House tax plan. “I believe that he ran for president just so he could cut his own taxes. He had no interest in governing, I swear to God!”
Far from simply making a one-off joke, she doubled down on this accusation. “That is the reason he ran – so that he could make money.”
