Police in Roxbury, Massachusetts are having a hard time getting their residents to yield in school zones.
So a very inventive teacher took matters into his own hands and used a secret weapon to help slow the flow of traffic this week.
Sam Barto, a gym teacher at Ellis Elementary School, grew frustrated when cars continued to speed through his school’s 20 mph slow zone. He enlisted the help of radar guns and a brightly colored crosswalk sign but nothing seemed to help. Until now.
A couple of days ago, the gym teacher turned local hero posted a photo of New England’s most valuable man to a traffic sign.
He is so good looking. Cars will have to slow down for him. 8:45am at the Ellis. #PutABradyOnIt pic.twitter.com/6MPFm7VzTk

The G.O.A.T. has only been up for three days but Balto thinks it’s working. Because if there’s one thing every Mass resident can agree on, it’s Tom Brady.
A #Roxbury teacher(@CoachBalto) and @WalkBoston put Tom Brady’s head on crosswalk signs outside of a school because drivers kept hitting the posts.

Although he hasn’t gotten the radar gun out to quantify just how much Brady is helping, he says it’s worth it.
“Also we need a smile, everybody needs to put a smile on their face,” he told The Boston Globe. “Tom Brady is one good looking guy. If I can get my kids to smile and their parents to smile, that’s a great way to start the day.”
Am I the only one who read that in a Boston accent?
