Hulk Hogan may be flirting with the idea of a US Senate run in Florida, sources close to him are indicating.

Hulk’s previously indicated that he’s not interested in a Senate run but all of that looks like it could change. According to TMZ, Hulk has gotten some convincing phone calls from Roger Stone — the former Trump strategist and high profile Republican adviser.

And Stone is trying to get Hulk to consider a Senate run to challenge current Florida governor Rick Scott. If he does consider running, he’s confident he would win.

“If I run, I would win,” he said. “But I don’t want to run. I have a great life here on the beach.” When pressed further if he would run, he said, “I’m saying no in this moment. After seeing Donald Trump’s fan base, and after seeing what Jesse Ventura did, in the state of Florida, I’ve got a feeling it wouldn’t be that hard.”

Now I’m not an expert in political strategy or human psychology but it sounds a lot like Hulk Hogan is gonna run for the US Senate. Gov. Rick Scott has been flirting with the idea of a 2018 run once his second term as Governor ends. And if Trump’s former campaign adviser is in Hulk’s ear telling him that we’re in an era of celebrities in politics, it doesn’t seem like a stretch to consider Hulk Hogan as the next legislative face of Florida.
