A new poll indicates a wave of change in how Americans view the police since President Trump took office.

A new Rasmussen Reports poll states:

“A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that just 43% of Likely U.S. Voters think there is a war on police in America today, down from 51% in 2016 and 58% a year earlier.”

When former president Barack Obama was in office, many Americans thought there was a war on police.

During Obama’s tenure, violent riots broke out in multiple American cities, and many of those riots featured violence directed toward police officers. (RELATED: Growing Number Of Race Riots Leave A Dark Mark On Obama’s Legacy)
