Warner Brothers dropped the first trailer for the upcoming movie “Tag” Tuesday.

The plot of the film, according to the YouTube description, is as follows:

For one month every year, five highly competitive friends hit the ground running in a no-holds-barred game of tag they’ve been playing since the first grade—risking their necks, their jobs and their relationships to take each other down with the battle cry: “You’re It!” This year, the game coincides with the wedding of their only undefeated player, which should finally make him an easy target. But he knows they’re coming…and he’s ready. Based on a true story, the New Line Cinema comedy “Tag” shows how far some guys will go to be the last man standing.

The film stars Jeremy Renner, Jon Hamm, Ed Helms, Rashida Jones, Isla Fisher and Hannibal Burress all star in the movie. That’s what I like to call an all-star line up.

It’s hard for me to believe that anything involving Renner, Hamm and Helms won’t be outstanding. Throw in Fisher, Jones and Burress for good measure, and I think we’re in for a fun ride.

I also can’t believe this is a true story. Part of me wants to make fun the idea of playing tag over 30 years, but at the same time I’m way more impressed by the dedication and respect to the game. I’m excited to see how it all plays out when it’s released June 15.

I’ve been a bit lukewarm on my movie predictions lately, and I really hope I’m not wrong on this one.
