President Trump is now facing pressure to do something about Syria after a chemical attack on civilians this weekend that many blame Syrian president Bashar al-Assad for.

Trump had previously said he planned to pull U.S. forces out of the region after ISIS was significantly crushed.

However, after this chemical attack, some are calling on the Trump administration to do something about Assad’s alleged use of chemicals on civilians. (RELATED: War Drums Beat For Trump To Strike Assad)

Trump said in the White House Monday, “We’ll be making some major decisions over the next 24 to 48 hours. We are very concerned. When a thing like that can happen — we’re talking about humanity. It can’t be allowed to happen. We’ll be looking at that barbaric act and studying what’s going on.” (RELATED: Trump Slams Assad For Gas Attacks, Warns Decision Coming In ’24 To 48 Hours’)
