Harvey Weinstein was caught smiling despite being arrested Friday for several sexual misconduct allegations, including rape.
Weinstein, 66, smiled while leaving a New York City police department after being accused of rape, criminal sex acts, and sex abuse, the BBC reported.
The disgraced movie mogul turned himself in at the New York City first precinct police department in Manhattan at 7:30 a.m. He was released on a $1 million bail in handcuffs and is wearing a monitoring device.
“This defendant used his position, money, and power to lure young women into situations where he was able to violate them sexually,” Prosecutor Joan Illuzzi-Orbon stated at court, CBS News reported. (RELATED: WATCH: Harvey Weinstein Turns Himself In To NY Police, Charged With Rape)
“We intend to move very quickly to dismiss these charges,” Weinstein’s lawyer Ben Brafman told reporters. “We believe that they are constitutionally flawed. We believe that they are not factually supported by the evidence.” (RELATED: Here’s Why Brad Pitt Allegedly Wanted To Kill Harvey Weinstein [VIDEO])
