The Utah Gun Exchange (UGE) has kicked off its Freedom Tour and the group is driving around the United States in a military armored personnel carrier defending Americans’ right to bear arms.

“We’re fighting to preserve and protect those values and those constitutional principals that made this republic great. The products and services that we deal in are prescribed in the constitution of the United States of America,” Bryan Melchior, co-owner of UGE explained. “And any time when a culture or civilization decided that there was something wrong with that, something went wrong with that culture. Something went wrong with that civilization.”

“It’s our mission in life to protect and preserve our lives, our posterity. If we don’t have a Second Amendment, we don’t have a country,” Melchior continued.

UGE has had a few hiccups during the tour, with almost every place they have been generating a police presence. The team was held in Illinois for six hours, then had their property confiscated in New York, and their vehicle was even vandalized in Utah during a town hall with the anti-gun Parkland students.

“All you have to do is stand here and wait long enough and [the police] will be here,” Melchior told The Daily Caller News Foundation. (RELATED: Exclusive: Gun Group Detained By NYPD And Had Property Confiscated For Minor Citation At Pride Parade)

The group is headed next to the Big Pro-Gun Rally in Tallahassee on July 28. Afterwards, they will traverse the U.S.-Mexico border with Vice News.

In addition to a firearms marketplace, Utah Gun Exchange is a media company that builds platforms like UGETube that seeks to be a substitute for media companies like YouTube that censor content and advertisers.
