Benson’s death is truly tragic. We don’t know a ton of details about what happened other than it was a motorcycle accident.
He died at the extremely young age of 36 years old. Men aren’t supposed to die that young. It’s just a horrible situation.

There’s no question at all that Benson’s impact on the world of football, especially in Texas, won’t be forgotten anytime soon.
The man was an absolute monster on the field during his days with the the Longhorns and then in NFL. He’s gone from this planet far too soon.
