Ohio State is still the favorite to win the college football national title.

According to odds from BetOnline_Ag, the Buckeyes are at +150, LSU and Clemson are tied at +250 and Georgia is a very distant fourth at +900. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

At this point in time, I’m not sure how anybody could say OSU isn’t the best team in America. They dismantled a very hot Michigan team.

That game was over by halftime, and Justin Fields looked like a video game character out there slinging the rock and running.

LSU and Clemson are both playing great, but I see nothing to suggest either is a more complete team than the Buckeyes.

Specifically, LSU has a defense that can be picked apart. We watched Ole Miss do it. We know it’s possible. Have we seen the same out of Clemson or OSU?

No. I’d actually take Dabo Swinney’s guys over LSU as well. Right now, I think the guys from Baton Rouge should probably be looked at as the number three team for a title run.

As for Georgia, they don’t have a prayer against LSU in the SEC title game, which means we’re going to be waking up Sunday debating that fourth spot.

Could Oklahoma get it? Could Utah take it? Is Baylor the favorite with a win? Could Wisconsin sneak in with a win over OSU? These are the questions we’ll debate all week.
