193 Kids From LeBron James’ I Promise School Get Free Tuition To Kent State

A bunch of teenagers from LeBron James’ I Promise school program are getting free college tuition.

According to TMZ, 193 students from the program will get free tuition to Kent State, and will get their freshman year room and board paid for. TMZ estimates the cost of the gesture will be about $8 million.

This is such a cool move from LeBron James. When he started his school program back in Ohio, it was done with the intent to get young people through high school and college.

Say whatever you want about LeBron James, but there’s no question at all that he does some amazing stuff off of the court.

I think we can all agree that whether you support his political views or his NBA career with the Lakers, there’s no doubt LeBron James puts his money where his mouth is when it comes to helping people.

He’s a very visible father, he’s very involved in the community and he helps the less fortunate. At the very least, we should applaud him for his awesome efforts to better the areas he came from.
