According to Adrian Wojnarowski, the team has “discussed” the option of separating from Beilien. He was handed a five-year deal to leave Michigan this past season. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)
The Cavaliers are currently 14-40.

This is such a nightmare for Beilein. I didn’t really understand why he left Michigan at the time to coach a bad Cavaliers team.
Since leaving the Wolverines for the Cavaliers, I think it’s safe to say that it’s been a failure on every single level.

The Cavaliers are atrocious, he’s had no success, he said he accidentally called his players thugs and it’s been a never-ending circus of errors.
I can almost guarantee that Beilein wishes he never left Ann Arbor. He was one of the best coaches in all of college basketball, and Michigan was dominant under him.

Now, he’s coaching one of the worst teams in the NBA, and there’s no light at the end of the tunnel. If this isn’t a great reminder that the grass isn’t always greener, then I don’t know what is.
