Woody Harrelson is joining “Man from Toronto” after Jason Statham left the film.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Statham wanted to make the film rated-R, but Sony is adamant it’s not in order to appeal to a larger audience. The action star decided to leave the movie, and now Harrelson will replace him. (RELATED: New ‘Westworld‘ Season 3 Trailer Gets Released, Ed Harris Returns As The Man In Black)

THR reported the following details on the movie with Kevin Hart:

The action-comedy uses a case of a mistaken identity as its jumping-off point after the world’s deadliest assassin, known as the Man from Toronto, and a New York City screw-up run into each other at an Airbnb. A clash of personalities, and a clash with deadly killers, ensues.

I definitely don’t hate this move at all. Woody Harrelson is a funny guy. In fact, he’s one of the funniest guys in the game.

I’m a huge Woody Harrelson fan, and he’s actually way more than just a funny guy. Let’s not forget that he starred in season one of “True Detective.”

That’s one of the darkest shows ever made, and it’s one of HBO’s greatest productions. The man can literally do it all.

Now, he’ll be starring with Kevin Hart in “Man from Toronto.” Something tells me the audience will be in for a very fun time.
