Musician Liam Payne claimed he got told off by Louis Tomlinson for spilling the beans on the upcoming One Direction reunion.

Payne first talked about the potential reunion last week in an interview with The Sun.

“I can’t say too much,” Payne told Swedish DJ Alesso on Sunday during an Instagram Live, Page Six reported. “It was actually, Louis told me off for revealing a bit of our plans the other day. So you’re going to have the group telling me off on the group chat.”

The pop band is coming up on their ten year anniversary. The group first announced they were taking a break in 2015.

“We’ve got a 10-year anniversary coming up so we’ve all been speaking together a lot over the last few weeks which has been really nice,” Payne told The Sun.”There’s a number of different things that we are all working on to try and make happen and people are forwarding emails around.”

A source close to the group said anything the group would do would have to be done virtually. (RELATED: One Direction Working On Secret Reunion, Could Include New Music)

“There’s still a long way to go and a lot of hurdles,” the source said. “Obviously, at the moment anything they do would have to be done virtually. But there’s a lot of goodwill between them now and they want to make something happen.”

It makes me so happy to hear that there is goodwill between them. The reign of One Direction ended on pretty crappy terms and it’s so refreshing to hear that things might be somewhat back to normal between the guys.

It would be absolutely amazing if they made some kind of comeback similar to the Jonas Brothers. Sometimes people just need a little bit of space to figure things out. One Direction would come back better than ever for sure.

I, personally, think they should just release a full reunion album with new music. That’d be the coolest.
