The Wisconsin Badgers continue to crank up the preseason hype for basketball.
In the latest preseason rankings from 247Sports, the Badgers slid in at number seven. Wisconsin has routinely been a top-10 team in the preseason polls. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

As I always say, I don’t need the hype, but I’ll take it. Wisconsin does our best work when we fly under the radar.
However, it doesn’t look like flying under the radar will be an option in 2020. After we set the Big 10 on fire this past season, everyone is now noticing us.
At the end of the day, it doesn’t change anything. We still have to just go out and win. The hype is fun and it’s great to be a top-10 team at the start of the season.

However, I think we all know it’s not about where you start. It’s all about where we end. We ended 2020 as the best team in the Big 10.
Now, it’s time to take things to the next level.
I will end on this note. Last season, we went through an absurd amount of adversity, battled through it and won the conference.
I’m proud as all hell of this team, and I’ll take mine against yours any day of the week. You best believe that.
