UFC president Dana White is still all-in on Fight Island being a thing.

During a recent interview with “Pardon My Take,” White was asked if Fight Island was still going down amid the coronavirus pandemic. He made it clear it’s full steam ahead. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

White told PMT the first event will happen July 11. You can watch his comments below.

I can’t wait to see what Fight Island is like. I have a feeling it’s going to be incredible. We know Dana White only goes big.

Doing small things isn’t his style at all. With the pandemic sweeping across the world, he needs a place to host foreign fighters. Fight Island is going to be the place that happens.

He’s being very secretive about where Fight Island is located, but that’s okay. He’s a showman after all. He knows how to get people hyped.

With a little more than a month until the first event on Fight Island, I’m sure he’ll continue dropping hints and details as we get closer.

All I know for sure is the UFC has led the way with sports returning during the crisis. Now, we’ll get Fight Island in a month. Go, White, go!
