Multiple members of the Dallas Cowboys and Houston Texans reportedly have coronavirus.
According to a Monday report from Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero, players on each squad have tested positive for the virus, but none of the players are believed to have ever been at their respective facilities.
Several #Cowboys players & several #Texans players have tested positive for COVID-19 recently, sources tell me & @TomPelissero. None of the players are believed to have been in their team facilities. The teams followed proper health protocols.

Well, things are about to get really interesting. Much like college football, I think we all expected positive tests to happen in the NFL. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)
There’s just simply no way to avoid them from occurring. We’re talking about thousands of league employees who will be around each other.
People are simply going to get the virus, and the NFL has believed that for a while.
A month ago, NFL chief medical officer Dr. Allen Sills said: “We fully expect that we will have positive cases that arise. … Our challenge is to identify them as quickly as possible and prevent spread to any other participants.” The teams appear to have done that. https://t.co/T18b96Nhtw

The question now is whether or not the teams can prevent the virus from spreading among players, which I 100% believe will be done efficiently.
Players with the virus will just have to avoid their teammates for a couple weeks and wait before doing workouts.

Let’s hope this is as bad as it gets for the NFL. The last thing football fans need is for entire squads to start getting wiped out.
