Bret Bielema is reportedly trying to make a return to college football.

According to Steven Godfrey, the former Wisconsin and Arkansas coach is currently interviewing for head coaching jobs and is a “top candidate” for Southern Miss. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

Bielema infamously left Wisconsin for Arkansas and then flamed out in spectacular fashion. He’s been in the NFL ever since.

Folks, I can’t tell you how much I’m hoping that Bielema finds a team to hire him. I don’t like Bielema and infamously crushed him in our historic feud, but that doesn’t mean I want him out of the game.

No rivalry is fun when only one side is crushing life. Rivalries are fun when both sides are great. I think it’s safe to say that Bielema hasn’t been great since he was in Madison.

Now, it sounds like he’s on the verge of returning to the college game. For the sake of my happiness, I hope like hell he gets a contract with a solid D1 team.

It would inject an entire new fire into my soul. It would give me the energy to live 100 more years. Cheering against Bielema would keep me young.

Please, somebody hire this guy. If you’re not going to do it for yourself, then do it for me as the King in the North when it comes to college football!
