Ohio vs. Kent State has been canceled because of coronavirus.

The MAC released a statement Tuesday afternoon announcing that the game was off because of “roster issues with the Kent State football team” involving coronavirus. The game won’t be rescheduled. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

It’s just the latest college football matchup scheduled for this weekend to be called off because of coronavirus.

When it rains, it pours and it’s pouring like all hell right now in the world of college football. It also seems like the state of Ohio is being hit especially hard.

First, Ohio State vs. Michigan was canceled, and now these two schools in Ohio won’t get to play as well because of coronavirus.

Remember, it’s only Tuesday! We still have several more days until Saturday rolls around, which means we’re likely far from done with the cancelations.

Hopefully, I’m wrong, but I fail to see anything to suggest that Ohio vs. Kent State is the final cancelation of the weekend.
