One tweet shows how insanely far Alabama quarterback Mac Jones has come over the past five years.

Rivals’ Woody Wommack tweeted a 2015 DM from the now-legendary Crimson Tide passer asking if somebody could make a recruiting profile for him.

It’s truly remarkable how much Mac Jones has blown up over the past season. Last year, he came in as Tau’s replacement when the current Miami Dolphins quarterback went down.
Outside of hardcore football fans, he was relatively unknown and nobody expected him to do much.

A little more than a year later, and he successfully led Alabama to a national title. Five years ago, he was so unknown that he didn’t even have a recruiting profile on Rivals.

Jones’ time under center in Tuscaloosa will forever be remembered among the best to ever do it for Nick Saban. Hell of a career for a hell of a player.
