Former Ohio State quarterback Justin Fields put his speed on display at his pro day Tuesday.
According to Adam Schefter, Fields, who will be one of the first players taken in the 2021 NFL Draft, was clocked running a 4.44 40-yard dash in front of scouts. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

Just how impressive was the insane display of athleticism? According to Schefter, the only first-round quarterback faster since 2006 was Baylor Heisman-winner Robert Griffin III.
Only 1st-Round QB to run a faster 40 time at the Combine since 2006 than Justin Fields’ unofficial 4.44 today was Robert Griffin III, who ran a 4.41 at the 2012 Combine. https://t.co/dDLMkPgtwA

Can you believe there are people who actually think Fields is going to fall in the draft? Can you believe those people exist?
Not only does he have a great arm and solid accuracy, but he’s without a doubt always one of the most athletic people on the field.

With his arm, speed and size, it almost wasn’t fair for opponents of Ohio State the past couple years. Trust me, I watched Fields torch Wisconsin twice.

I can’t wait to see what Fields does in the NFL. Unfortunately, I have a feeling he’ll be long gone by the time Detroit picks at seven. I hope I’m wrong, but he’s just too damn good to stick around for long on the board.
